I’ve been ruminating over how to open the Financial Magick section of the website when I remembered this amusing and ridiculously easy money ritual. It belongs to an eclectic psychological magick system called Simoron, but can be used by anybody in any context. Capable of bringing small sums of money, without effort, from all kinds of sources, it used to be a part of my regular set of techniques before GoM Magickal Cashbook came out.
The main idea behind the ritual is that money essentially represents a kind of energy. So, what do we do when we’re getting low on power? Yes, we charge the batteries!
To do it you’ll need your wallet or purse, preferably the one you’ve been using for some time, and a power supply. A regular phone charger or a laptop power brick will do just fine. Stick the end of the charger cord into your wallet and plug the charger into the wall, that’s it! Now leave it for several hours for the money battery to get completely filled.
This ritual can be used as needed, whenever you’re running low on money energy. Or you can make it a routine, charging your wallet every day (or night) along with your phone. Just make sure the power cable doesn’t get shorted inside.
