After a month off I’m back with yet another obscure but powerful technique of self-programming. With this highly unusual method you will be imprinting instructions into your subconscious mind using ordinary and very familiar table implements. You’ll need nothing more than a plate and a spoon to change your beliefs, obtain answers to your questions, or even manifest your desires by manipulating the reality itself.

There is a very well-known and widely used folk magick working called “freezer spell” to bind unwanted people and keep them away from your reality. You write the name of your target on a piece of paper, put it into a jar of water (or a nastier liquid), or simply tie it with a thread, then shove it into the back of your refrigerator. The spell is reliable and notoriously effective, however not without side-effects: the result is not permanent, and it takes up valuable space in your fridge. There must be a better way, and there is. Here’s a method that gets people out of your life for good, and doesn’t require you to introduce your enemies into your food storage.

It seems puzzling, but the natural storage reservoirs for vital energy, which are known to Asian practitioners as the Dantian, are at the same time the most rarely mentioned parts of human subtle anatomy. Their importance is almost completely overlooked in Western esoteric practices, even the ones specifically dedicated to energy work. And it may very well be the reason why so many occultists, despite doing everything correctly, still experience strange problems, inexplicable failures or intermittent results in their work concerning attention control, out-of-body projection and other energy-demanding practices.

One of the most basic yet effective training tools known to a practical occultist is the famous fake it until you make it approach. In essence it means acting and behaving as if you already possessed the skill you are training for, until one day you suddenly realize that you’re no longer faking it. However this method is not without drawbacks: the process is frustratingly slow, and sometimes it can feel too, well, fake — too much like roleplay or that cringy positive thinking.

Psychologists and brain scientists have long known that people normally concentrate most of their conscious attention on the things they’re directly staring at, which are usually right in front of them, near the center of the visual field. The periphery, on the other hand, is processed mostly subconsciously and is not brought up to the conscious mind unless something important occurs there, or a person makes a deliberate effort to notice the visual outskirts. In the occult circles it’s common knowledge that the easiest way to actually see weird things like auras, energies, spirits, ghosts, etc is to look out of the corner of your eye.
