Soap Ritual to Wash Things Away

Here is yet another modern folk magick spell to get rid of things you don’t want in your reality, this time employing the power of the Water element. Although not very fast, it’s extremely simple and doesn’t require any magickal abilities or training. Only common household supplies like soap and a bucket of water are needed.

The working itself is simple and straightforward. You take a bar of soap and carve the name of the thing you want to remove from your life into that bar of soap. Prepare a large bowl, basin or bucket of water, and place the soap inside in such a manner that the writing is facing upwards. Then put the bucket away somewhere in the far corner and let the soap dissolve, taking your problem with it.

For example, if you’re depressed, you can carve the word “depression” into the bar of soap. If you have some illness or ailment, name it and carve it into the soap. If you are having a particular issue, or problem, or circumstance, try to sum it up in one or two words, write them on the soap, drop it into your bucket of water and simply let it dissolve. After it does, just pour it down the drain. It’s that simple!

What’s more, this spell can as well get rid of people in your life, sometimes in a dramatic manner. It won’t necessarily kill them or something like that, but they will be removed from your reality. And how it will be done, can not be known. So before washing someone out of your life make sure you will be okay with the consequences.

The downside of this working is that it’s not particularly fast. And if you take a brand new bar of soap, it’s going to take forever for it to dissolve, so it may be smarter to take a small bar or even a used one, little more than a sliver. Even then it can take several weeks to dissolve, so be patient. It still takes a long time to break up a tiny bar of soap. If your bucket is small, you may have to keep adding water to it. You don’t want to place more than one bar of soap in one container of water. But you can have any number of buckets going at the same time. One target, one bucket.

This ritual can be made stronger by employing astrological correspondences. Saturn is the planet of banishment and destruction, so try to prepare everything on a Saturday during the hour of Saturn (consult a planetary hours app, or work right after sunrise). Waning Moon will add even more power.
